What accessibility standards does AVA use?

AVA’s assessments are based on local building regulations, such as South Africa’s SANS Part S, with additional features informed by international Universal Design standards and checklists. AVA currently focuses on basic Universal Access (UA) recommendations for physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities. As AVA learns and evolves, she will expand to offer more comprehensive assessments.

AVA uses AI to assist you in generating an accessibility score and making recommendations. Final decisions about implementation are always in your hands.
